[Originally Drawn on January 24th] So here's a very different kind of drawing style that I felt like experimenting with, Not just me drawing Spider-Man, but also with using more darker shading and a little bit of gradients around the suit. The way Spider-Man looks is based off of this screenshot from the old fan-film Spider-Man: The Green Goblin's Last Stand.
Recently I've been getting back in the mood of making sprites, and it lead me to make two sprites of my favorite character Big the Cat in the style of the Game Boy Advance game; Sonic Advance using a sprite from other GBA Sonic game, Sonic Battle, I made both an idle pose and one based off of this artwork drawn by Yuji Uekawa. I also used the Sonic sprite as scale from Big who is... well big haha
So I know I'm mostly posting doodles on this blog currently, but unlike the last post I have more than just two pages to show off haha. So I felt like posting them here, 'cause I can.
First up are two cartoon cats that I happen to enjoy, Sylvester and Bonkers! I haven't drawn these two in a while, but I felt like doing so due to me watching a lot of the original Looney Tunes shorts on Tubi, Also because I just haven't draw these two in a while, and I needed the practice. I decided to color the noses to make it stand out from the rest of the sketch.
Next up are these doodles of Rotor Walrus and Antoine D'Coolette from both Sonic SatAM and the Archie Sonic Comics. I actually own a few of the Archie comics due to my cousin (who's also a huge Sonic dork) handing me down a few of them. Besides that I mostly wanted to draw these two because I wanted to try and draw Sonic characters outside of the normal cast seen in the games, something I tend to rarely do. I drew Rotor both in his post-reboot design and pre-reboot (I like to call them Himbo Rotor and Husky Rotor haha). Antoine was mostly a blend of his post and pre-reboot designs, since I tend to like both.
Then there are these doodles related to Dragon Ball, I mostly drew these due to me reading the 3-1 Manga a ton lately. I didn't feel like drawing much just drew Goku, Krillin, and Puar. I did have fun drawing these especially since I haven't drawn anything DB related in a hot minute, especially of the original series. also this is my first time drawing Puar!
So two days ago I found out that I had completely unused sketchbook I bought back I believe last year, so I felt like using it once and for all! (since I've been meaning to get back into sketching silly doodles) so I'd thought I'd show off the first two pages of the sketchbook.
First up is a collection of Mickey Mouse doodles, mostly drew these because I felt like I forgot how to draw him, I also decided to draw King Mickey from Kingdom Hearts, along with a tiny Minnie Mouse and Walt Disney, mostly because I didn't know what else to add to the page lol.
And next is some doodles of my character Dex dressed as a hunter wielding a pop gun. the raccoon hat was mostly taken from Big Johnson Bone from Bone, the Poncho was just added because I thought it would look cool. Also I drew him meeting a certain Wascally Wabbit, I wasn't gonna color Bugs but I did like how it came out, purple doesn't look to bad on him now that I think about it.
Something I've been thinking about for a while, Giving my green goober a sibling, more specifically a brother! so I doodled up this piece of concept art a while back for how I want him to look.
The main idea was that he was more dorky and nerdier than Tobi and tends to mostly outsmart him, the name Dex came from both the word Poindexter and Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory, explaining the big glasses... And then I got my hands on the first three Bone comics for Christmas of last year, and I recently got back into Osamu Tezuka's work, so I decided to change up his design at least a little bit.
One change that may be obvious is that his body has a more lighter shade of green, specifically Lime Green (though you probably can't tell due to how the camera quality looks), and the shoes were changed to be a darker shade of red. This might not be the final color palette for him, but I don't wanna stray way to far from how he looks in the original Concept art haha.
I based his expressions more or less off of Fone Bone the main character from Bone and the glasses went from being inspired by Dexter to being more inspired by the Tezuka character, Tamao Ome. Heck the last doodle's pose is taken from the Shakespeare Manga Theatre where Tezuka drew himself dressed as Shakespeare. I might make a proper digital drawing of him some day, heck he'll probably appear in the comics whenever I get back into working on those. Though for now it'll remain a silly idea in my head :P

To know thyself is to draw thyself.. said no one, but me.. So I decided to draw myself today! Mostly for practice and because I haven't done so in a while. Decided to do something more I guess surreal where I draw myself, drawing myself! Or at least just my hand (left hand specifically).
So I realized that I've been lacking in drawing Sonic stuff lately, so obviously I had to change that, so I doodled a collection of Sonic's using a couple Mickey Mouse model sheets as reference (something I recommend for those who wanna get into drawing Sonic) I also decided to draw Amy Rose, someone who I desperately need to give more attention too, using a Minnie Mouse model sheet for the pose. I also decided to color it, since I wanted to see how they'd look with colors.
